It had to happen. While watching the new “Deadpool” film opening night, this image immediately struck my psyche. I was immediately reminded of famous fashion and celebrity photographer Herb Ritts and one of his famous – and famously gay – portraits of a muscled bloke holding tires. His body of work is commanding, and I count him among one of the photographers who truly inspired me, even though I never developed in to a studio portraitist.
This image took a few hours to render, but I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. Let me know what you think.

15 Characters You Never Knew Were In A Lgbtq+ Relationship
Although comics have always been an inherently political form of media, it took a long occasion for editors to be on board with the idea of openly male lover superheroes, partially as a result of the dreaded Comics Code of Rule. While we have yet to shake all of the stigma and backlash set by the Comics Code of Authority, we have made strides in the years since it was stricken down. While queer characters are still vastly underrepresented by Marvel and DC Comics, there are a great deal more well-written LBGTQIA characters in comics than there were 20 years ago.

Please note this profile is for the Ultimate version of Colossus. The character’s 616 version is not gay.
In the Ultimate cosmos, Piotr (Peter) Rasputin originally worked in arms dealings for the Russian Mob to support his family in Siberia, but eventually left after he was recruited by Xavier to join the X-Men. Dissatisfied with the X-Men after several missions and carrying feelings of exclusion by the other team members, he eventually left. Cyclops and Marvel Girl pursued him, whereupon he gave them the aforementioned reasons for leaving, to which Jean Grey protested saying that he actually left because of his attraction to an undisclosed teammate. He quickly dismissed them. However, he returned when the X-Men needed his help to save a Russian submarine that sank in the ocean.
For a long time, it was hinted that Colossus was attracted to Wolverine. The two worked on missions together and Colossus often supported Wolverine during battle. During the Return of the King arc, Colossus tells Wolverine that if they do not live, he wants to say him what is in his heart, though Wolverine tells him, fully attentive of what it is, that he should be

MARVEL UNIVERSE
Today in Halifax Nova Scotia its Gay Identity. Technically it’s been Same-sex attracted Pride week since last Sunday but today is the day that they held the parade and the concert and fireworks and all that jazz so I guess you could say today is the gayest and pride-iest day of the week. The parade grows every year and this year was no exception with what was the longest parade I think I’ve ever seen. I’m very supportive of the LGBT community and I aspire you are too. I have friends that plummet into each of those categories (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender) and my little brother is out and proud and incredible. I read an article about Gay Pride Week in this weeks issue of The Coast (our free alternative newspaper) and it was pretty unhappy to read about how some people that marched in Halifax’s first Event Parade 25 years ago had to wear bags over their heads so as not to fetch recognized and potentially fired from their jobs. We’ve come along way from that Thankfully. Seeing the large crowd that turned out for the pride today made me pleased.
To celebrate gay celebration today I thought it might be nice to review a gay move figure. U
