The annually updated SPARTACUS Gay Travel Index informs travellers about the situation of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender (LGBT) in a total of 202 countries and regions. The US-Index provides data about each of the 50 federal states of the US.
The index shots at finding a adjust between measuring the rights of the local LGBT community and considering the demands of queer holidaymakers. Our aim is to monitor the safety of queer people in each country and also amplify the awareness on grievances.

Every year, the German publisher of gay journey information and guides publishes the annual Gay Commute Index, with a detailed ranking of 202 countries worldwide and their Queer friendliness. In the 11th edition, the Berlin-based publishing house Blu Media and the magazine Spartacus wish to inform lesbian, lgbtq+, and queer travelers about how gay-friendly a holiday destination is according to several ranking factors and criteria. The aim is to collect enough knowledge about LGBTQ+ friendliness, laws protecting queer people, and the livability of the locals. Gay travelers can use the Gay Move Index 2023 to ready for their gaycation and as a guide when choosing a holiday destination. The program provides free inclusive hospitality training for accommodations to help them acquire a better understanding of the specific challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ travelers.
