Our destination is the Lazy E-L Ranch, at the foot of the Beartooth Mountains. The historic log-cabin-style lodge is not a hotel, but a family vacation home. The main lodge is called “The Summer Cabin” and each room is unusual, decorated with original western art, old family photographs, and Navajo rugs. The ranch limits the number of guests to 12, and room and cabin preference is given to those who book first. Some bedrooms have confidential bathrooms and some distribute a bathroom with the room next door. B
