Romance gay books
I didn’t realize until the film came out just how many queer women in my social circle and workplace had study and adored Red, Light and Royal Blue. But perhaps I shouldn’t have been so surprised, considering women have historically been the primary readers of M/M romantic fiction, even if the general assumption around that fact is that it’s straight women. But I suspect I’m not the only lesbian out there who enjoys a light, unchallenging little romp into gay romance. If you’re looking for a reading experience that will be an unmitigated delight from top to bottom, endeavor Red, White & Royal Blue! The loveliest person ever sits next to you on the plane. But he’s in the wrong seat. You lose him, only to find him again, then lose him in the crowd... This is the story of English Daniel, 23, and French Daniel, 22, on holiday separately, then together, in Majorca – or on Mallorca. Of their complex love tri-tangle with 18-year-old Dunk and their finding out in the end that only Daniel will perform. Of how their holiday romance grows into something stronger, and how their holiday island becomes their home. This book contains a few frankly described scenes of gay sex.
